Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization, LLC (BIDPO) is a value-based, independent physician network and contracting organization. Through coordinated, integrated medical management programs and managed care contracts, BIDPO promotes the highest quality of patient care, patient safety and cost effective care among its participating providers.

BIDPOBIDPO has approximately 1700 participating providers – physicians, podiatrists and psychologists. Our network is affiliated with the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center(BIDMC) in Boston which is the hospital for tertiary and quaternary care utilized by all of our providers, and as the primary hospital utilized by our providers in close geographic proximity to Boston/Brookline. BIDPO physicians are either members of the BIDMC medical staff or are on staff at other JCAHO accredited community hospitals that are geographically further from BIDMC but utilize the medical center and BIDPO Specialists as their major tertiary/quaternary patient care provider. BIDPO’s physicians use their local hospitals for primary and secondary care including key community hospitals such as Beth Israel Deaconess Needham, Milton, Anna Jaques and Lawrence General Hospitals. Currently, we have nearly 400 primary care physicians and 1300 specialists in the physician organization.

Our mission is to promote, through our clinically integrated physician network, the best quality and value of care to patients, health insurers and employers. We accomplish this through coordinated managed care contracts with innovative payment methodologies, superior medical management programs and administrative services which we provide to physicians and their practices.
